The integration steps mentioned here is about replicating employee master data together with employee organizational assignments from Employee Central to SAP ERP HCM system based on the Business Integration Builder (BIB).

Step 1: Employee Central Master implementation

Step 2: SAP Cloud Platform Integration

Step 3: Support Packages and Required Software Component Versions

Check the Minimum Setup Required for SAP ERP HCM Systems.

Step 4: SAP Note

Are the required SAP Notes installed? 

Check for updated version of each SAP Note, which you can find in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad at https://launchpad.support.sap.com/ (Published on the SAP website).

Step 5: Full Transmission Start Date

Use the full transmission start date to define when data replication should begin.

Step 6: Setting up Permissions

Set up the permissions required by API users in Employee Central, just as authorizations for data replication users and users who process the replicated data in the SAP ERP HCM.

Step 7: SAP ERP HCM Settings

Set up the basic environment for the SAP ERP HCM framework, for example, enabling the decoupled infotype framework and the Personnel Assignment switchbox.

If you want to use this integration, the Business Integration Builder mode needs to be enabled in SAP ERP HCM system.
